This is a mental health blog by an average person for average people.

I’m so glad you’re here! I hope you’ll find insight, learn something new, self-reflect, and find an open-minded and open-hearted community here. Mental health is quickly becoming a large-scale issue, as 2020 wreaks havoc on our lives.

Let me be clear – I am not a mental health professional. I cannot diagnose, advise medications, or give answers. I’m just an average person who’s suffered a lot because of her brain. What I can do is listen, give resources and perspective, and encourage you wholeheartedly on your path. Basically everything you’ll find here is what I’ve learned from years of struggling through mental ailments.

My reasons for starting this blog are two-fold: one, I wanted to reach out, educate, and encourage others on their mental health journeys; two, I wanted a documentation of my own journey. I’ve come a very long way, especially this last year, but I know I have a very long way to go, too.

When I’m not writing about mental health, I can be found cuddling with my dog, daydreaming about exploring the world, studying, writing short stories, and drinking way too much coffee. I am an enthusiastic hiker, part of the LGBTQ+ community, and a classic Aries.

Let’s have these difficult conversations. Let’s talk about the things that scare us.
